Currently on secondment to Leicester City Council to project manage the delivery of a number of city centre public realm schemes under the Connecting Leicester banner. This is the city mayor's project aimed at improving the links between the traditional city centre and the various tourist attractions both in and around the city. The discovery of Richard lll's body resulted in a tight programme to deliver £5M of improvements before his reinterment in May 2014. The Council's successful Transforming Cities bid in 2018 will bring further funding to deliver a wide range of transport related schemes. Currently managing the delivery of a new bus only link road to enable the extension of the existing city centre pedestrian zone.Responsible for the delivery of the company Road Safety Audit service on schemes in both the public and private sectors. I have experience of overseas RSA of a major highways project in the former Russian Republic of Georgia acting as the Stage 3 Audit Team Leader. I have an expert knowledge of the Traffic Signs Regualtions and General Directions 2002 and provide support and advice to in-house design teams and clients. In conjunction with this I also provide a comprehensive service to design and deliver new Traffic Regulation Orders in association with the relevant highway authority ranging from small scale speed limit extensions to complex waiting restriction and pedestrian zone schemes. My current role at Leicester City Council also involves the delivery of a number of new TROs to enable the tight construction programme to be met.

Lockington, Derby

Worked with Leicestershire County Council to deliver a series of traffic calming schemes across the county. I developed the preliminary design and took an active role in the public consultation exercise. Schemes ranged from single road to village wide projects.Also carried out Road Safety Audits on a wide variety of projects and provided technical support and advice on traffic regulation and management issues. Major projects included The Shires Shopping Centre and the University Hospitals of Leicester PFI project.

Carried out potential site access assessments, contibuted to the preparation of Transport Assessments, provided technical support and advice on Traffic Regulation and management issues.

Assisted the Team Leader Traffic to deliver day to day traffic management schemes across the southern half of the county including managing Agency Authorities prior to re-organisation.
