The ten largest manufacturing sites failed portions of their yearly physical inventory audits. Wrote the company policies and procedures for inventory processes, including physical inventory and cycle counting for raw materials, products, inventory in closed vessels, and spare parts. Trained 90 sites and conducted audits of the process at 20 sites. Result: Within a year failed inventory audits decreased to zero. • Developed a training course for site managers for manufacturing site SOX controls and taught the course to over 200 site managers across four continents over a year. Result: All manufacturing SOX compliance audits passed for the company’s first year of SOX certification.
