I quickly grew into a major supplier for many large retailers including the big boxes and built great lasting relationships with upper management and decision makers at companies that include: Wal-Mart, Target, Sear’s, Macy’s, Disney Stores & Parks, Toys R Us, Kids Mart, Children’s Place, Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, Ross,Burlington, Fred Meyer, Kohl’s, Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Sally’s Beauty, Hot Topic, Dressbarn, and Claire’s.While at Offshoots, I also partnered with several studios and closed licensing agreements including Disney (all characters), Warner Bros (Batman), and Sony Pictures (several movies).During this time I built sales volume to over $30 million before merging with Fantasia in 2003. As a result of the merger I was retained with a 3 year continuation contract and a 3 year non-compete.During that time, I continued to grow the business to over $40 million while maintaining a 10-15% net operating profit each year. One of the brands I created, On The Verge, is still a popular brand name within department stores.

    I assumed control of a small, family-owned, accessory wholesaling business. At the time I took over, the business sold to a few small department stores and mom & pop retailers. To grow the company, I shifted our focus to supplying major retailers. Rosecraft became a direct domestic manufacturer and direct importer. My role included extensive overseas travel experience with over 75 trips to China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, London & Paris.As President & CEO, company sales grew from $1.5 in 1976 to $20 million in 1986. Our factory grew from 4,000sf in Attleboro, MA to 96,000sf in Woonsocket, R.I. Headcount went from 15 to 300 employees. Due to heavy demand, many worked double shifts.In 1986 I sold the company to Lori Corporation, a public company based in Chicago. The sale included a 5 year continuation contract. During my tenure at Lori Corporation, I continued to grow sales over the next 5 years to $35 million while achieving a net operating profit of 13%.
