My role included extensive overseas travel experience with over 75 trips to China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Thailand, London & Paris.As President & CEO, company sales grew from $1.5 in 1976 to $20 million in 1986. Our factory grew from 4,000sf in Attleboro, MA to 96,000sf in Woonsocket, R.I. Headcount went from 15 to 300 employees. Due to heavy demand, many worked double shifts.In 1986 I sold the company to Lori Corporation, a public company based in Chicago. The sale included a 5 year continuation contract. During my tenure at Lori Corporation, I continued to grow sales over the next 5 years to $35 million while achieving a net operating profit of 13%.
