This was a semester-long assignment as an art teacher in San Francisco's East Bay community.

Señor Steve's "Radio Amigos" hour reached a potential AM radio listening audience of 300,000. We took live, on-the-air calls debating issues related to the Latino community including immigration and bilingualism in America. The show also hosted numerous local guests, talked about news affecting Latinos (especially undocumented migrants) and Latino interaction with the general population, played interesting and unusual Spanish language music, recited bilingual poetry, and lots more. The show went hand-in-hand with my position as interim director of Wilmington's Centro Latino.

Responsible for all functions of a Latino Community Center, including new immigrant services, help center case management, programs, events, and classes, fund raising, and more. Edited the connected Amigos Bilingual Magazine, a free monthly magazine distributed throughout the Cape Fear region.
