About Steve Rugg
One day I found myself illustrating a new downtown project called The Exchange, which led me to a position with Church Street Station. I went on to become Sr. Graphics Designer and was instrumental in the purchase of the first Macs used for typesetting. This was a unique job, but it came to an end when the company was sold. I then joined the New Universal Studios Florida as new project designer before the attraction opened. This turned out to be the greatest job I have ever experienced. (I know, I know, I’ve been very lucky to have all these great jobs.) I had the good fortune to work with all types of talented producers, architects and designers, including my good friend Tony Morgan. None other than Steven Spielberg was our Creative Director. I was chosen to design the “Time Capsule” to be placed on top of the “Back to the Future'” Delorean for the opening day ceremony. I started networking, again (!), only to discover that the poor economy had forced many like myself to scramble for jobs that didn’t exist. That predicament inspired me to once more open up my own design firm, which I christened Lion’s Breath Studio. After all those previous stops and all of that experience earned during my journey, Lion’s Breath feels like home. Today’s ‘get to the point’ thinking has created a high demand for compelling visuals, which we specialize in. You’re invited to come take advantage of my exceptional 3D visual services. We’ll make sure that your next project becomes your latest success story.
