As a Compliance Manager I monitor and audit internal lines of business ensuring all compliance initiatives, federal regulation requirements, state and investor audits, and change management tickets are achieved in a timely manner. I worked closely with underwriters to proactively identify loan issues and request items to cure. I interpreted and clarified guidelines to advocate for potential declines overturning adverse decisions by discussing details with all parties and presenting workarounds in escalated reviews.

Union Bank acquired Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. I was in the same role and mainly the same office with these two respective companies from July 2011-November 2012 and then July 2013- June 2016.This was a sales and relationship driven role. I managed an affluent book of business closing deals that included mortgage loans, business and treasury products, retirement and investments, as well as a variety of standard banking and depository products.

In November of 2012 I moved to Colorado for my wife's dream job. After talking a few months off to enjoy the move and settle in I began working here as an Assistant Customer Service Manager. My wife and I ended up moving back to California where I was welcomed back to my previous role (which had switched over to Union Bank) in July of 2013.

I created an auto body and restoration business while the economy was doing well in 2005. I mainly visited car dealerships negotiating deals to repair/paint their used cars so they could maximize profits. Acquired accounts all over Ventura and Los Angeles Counties as well as networked to gain side jobs and other sources of revenue. When the housing market crashed and economy struggled I moved more toward the financial industry and phased the restoration business out.
