My practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, product liability litigation and class actions. I have served as national coordinating counsel and lead counsel on pharmaceutical and medical device mass tort federal and state court proceedings, including a state coordinated proceeding in California involving 18,000 claimants. I have also defended actions brought by state attorneys general, alleging violation of unfair trade practice act statutes and consumer fraud. I have additional experience defending companies in breach of contract, trade secret, unfair competition, false advertising and shareholder and employment disputes. I also have experience in life science and consumer product regulatory matters.Before joining Benesch I founded the law firm of Selna Partners LLP, I previously served as a Managing Partner at an Am Law 100 firm as well as Regional Partner in charge of its San Francisco office. I also served as co-chair of that firm's national diversity committee and vice-chair of its product liability litigation practice group.
