I am the Club President of the Louisa County Lions Club. We serve the citizens of the County as well as surrounding areas. My role is to serve in leading the direction of the club and supporting our Board of Directors as the Chairman.

I am a member of the Board of Directors for the Louisa County Lions Club (District 24-L). The Louisa County Lions Club was chartered in 1952 to do the work of Lionism in Louisa County. Our primary work is sight and hearing conservation, but we do so much more. The Lions Club motto is “We Serve” and club members go about serving the needs and supporting causes in the County in an enjoyable way. We think of ourselves as good people, doing good things, and having a good time doing it! Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world every day because they share a core belief - to serve their community. Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization. We have 1.35 million members in more than 45,000 clubs in more than 206 countries and geographic areas. Lions have a dynamic history. Founded in 1917, we are best known for fighting blindness, but we also volunteer for many different kinds of community projects - including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry and aiding seniors and the disabled. Lions give sight. By conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine and raising awareness of eye disease, Lions work toward their mission of providing vision for all. We have extended our commitment to sight conservation through countless local efforts and through our international SightFirst Program, which works to eradicate blindness. Lions serve youth. Our community projects often support local children and schools through scholarships, recreation and mentoring. Internationally, we offer many programs, including the Peace Poster Contest, Youth Camps and Exchange & Lions Quest. Lions award grants. Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded more than $700 million in grants to support Lions humanitarian projects around the world. Lions help during disasters by providing for immediate needs such as food, water, clothing, & medical. We also aid in long-term reconstruction.

I serve as a Deacon and the Leader of our Safety Team at Grace Christian Church. Our Mission is to Love God in worship and obedience. The Bible is our standard; we will do what God calls us to do; Love People by selflessly serving and engaging people from all walks of life; Impact the World by strategically reaching out in this community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through community and international service.We believe in one God, existing in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; equal in power and respect; eternal in nature, omnipresent; omniscient: omnipotent; having the same attributes, character, and perfection. You may have heard the saying, “A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many.” This is at the core of the Moose organization and what makes us unique in our Lodges, local communities and charitable “cities” that we support. Our roots can be traced to 1888 and the founder of the Moose, Dr. Henry Wilson, who successfully established the first Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky. In the early years, the Moose was to serve a modest goal of offering men an opportunity to gather socially, to care for one another’s needs and celebrate life together. With a membership of over 1,000,000 members, our presence is felt in over 1,500 communities across all 50 states and four Canadian provinces, plus Great Britain. The Moose organization contributes between $75 to $100 million worth of community service (counting monetary donations, volunteer hours worked and miles driven) annually. I have been appointed to the Virginia DCJS Private Security Services Advisory Board. Per Code of Virginia, Section 9.1-143, the PSSAB works with and advises the Criminal Justice Services Board on issues relating to the regulations of private security services businesses.

I am an active Instructor with DCJS and have taught many disciplines within Public Safety in the Commonwealth of Virginia to include Law Enforcement, Jail Officer, Corrections, Court Security, Civil Process, Armed and Unarmed Security, Personal Protection Specialist (Executive Protection), Electronic Security, Central Station Dispatcher, Private Investigator, Locksmith, Special Conservator of the Peace, and Firearms (Basic Handgun, Advanced Handgun, Shotgun, and Patrol Rifle).

I am the Training Coordinator for the Lake of the Woods Patrol Division and Serve as a Special Conservator of the Peace for the Association. In addition to Law/Traffic Enforcement functions and supervision, I work closely with the Chief and Assistant Chief on building and facilitating ongoing training for the personnel within the Department. The Department is overseen by Allied Universal in Partnership with the Owner’s Association.

I transitioned as a Regional Trainer for Allied Universal and serve in our Southeast Region and focus on supporting our Security Professionals in Virginia. I leverage my years of training, operations, client relations, and management to ensure that our security professionals have all of the skills and tools they need to be the best in their fields. I serve as the DCJS Training School Director for our Training License for Southern/Western Virginia and serve as a liaison with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services in matters of compliance with state auditory and compliance matters. I was the Director of Mid-Atlantic (Maryland to Georgia) Training and oversaw training for the region. I coordinated instructor and class scheduling, built training curriculum, and assured that all training was within compliance with both company regulations and with state government. I also served as a regular instructor as part of my duties for the Academy. I was involved in operations as well due to my extensive background in Contracts, RFP's, and Security Operations/Management and provided executive oversight as needed. I was one of the primary Executive Protection Agents for Virginia Assignments and traveled both in country and abroad as part of my duties. I frequently served as team lead on EP Assignments and special events I was involved with. I built the SOS Security Training School in Virginia from the ground up and leveraged my relationship with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services to become one of the premier training schools in the Commonwealth supporting our security staff and the general public looking to get into the industry or maintain their registrations. I was the Government Services Division Manager for security services at the Virginia Department of General Services Contract which includes the Commonwealth of Virginia buildings and parking facilities in and around the Virginia State Capitol Complex as well as other DGS locations such as the Perimeter Center in western Henrico County, the Library of Virginia, and the Virginia War Memorial as well as Petersburg Area Transit. I oversaw a staff of a Captain, a Lieutenant, 7 Sergeants, 4 Corporals, and 80+ Officers. I was responsible for client communication, scheduling, payroll, and billing of a contract that runs roughly 11,000 man hours monthly as well as training, recruitment, mentoring, and coaching of our staff. I also had the privilege to oversee security operations at the Inauguration of two Virginia Governors (Terrence McAuliffe and Ralph Northram) as well as security coordination for many events during my tenure at the Virginia State Capitol Complex. I am a part time Adjunct Instructor for Nations Best CPR. I assist and conduct both American Red Cross and American Heart Association courses as needed for the company. Nation's Best CPR training is a leading American Red Cross and American Heart Association CPR instruction provider for much of the Central and Eastern United States. At Nation's Best CPR, we strive to create an educational experience that's both fun and thorough, meanwhile making the registration for First Aid and CPR training process simple and stress-free. We offer on-site, in-class, full-day, and online blended learning classes. CPR classes offer the hands-on training that most organizations require.

I was an On-Call Personal Protection Specialist for At-Risk International. As a Deacon and leader of the Security Team at the Mechanicsville Church of Christ, I worked closely with our Minister, Elders, and Church Leadership for the furthering of our mission to Love God, Love People, and Impact the World. I helped ensure that all were welcome in a safe environment. We are a nondenominational Christian Church/Church of Christ. We worship, pray and praise together on a weekly basis. And together we study the Bible, God's Word to us, and seek to apply what He says to the way we live. Mechanicsville Church of Christ offers lots of different programs for different age levels, to make sure your entire family is learning about Christ in a way they can understand. MCC supports several missions and organizations in the US and all over the world.

I was a member of the International Training Team and served with the training of Security Leaders for the Saudi Aramco Oil Company.

I developed and built the Transit Security Enforcement Division for Petersburg Area Transit upon the opening of the new Transit station in 2010. I was responsible for the building of policy as procedure, staffing, and management of the division. The transit enforcement team maintained the security of the station as well as enforced state law and municipal ordinances. we worked closely with the Petersburg Bureau of Police and performed law enforcement functions with arrests ranging from trespass to narcotics violations.

I provided law enforcement and security supervision and management for American Security Group. I started out as an Officer and was promoted to Corporal, Sergeant, 1st Sergeant, Lieutenant, and finally Captain. I performed law enforcement and security operations/ management at many locations such as Petersburg Transit, Richmond City, Chesterfield County, Henrico County, and the Virginia Department of General Services at the Virginia State Capitol. American Security Group is well established in the Security and enforcement field throughout the state. They also have a comprehensive investigations division.

I was a Deputy Sheriff with the Petersburg City Sheriff's Office. Our office was responsible for the security of our courts as well as correctional duties at the City Jail where we were charged with the caretaking of those that are in our custody. I was assigned to Operations that included Prisoner Transportation, Jail Operations, Emergency Response, Civil Process, and Courtroom Security. I also have an extensive background in Civil Process, and Law Enforcement, and Investigations. I was also in charge of the agency's Honor Guard and was one of the agency's Firearms Instructors.

Provided/ Coordinated Security for staff and patrons at the restaurant on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and on special events when we had live entertainment. I was responsible for selection, training, and scheduling of the security staff for the restaurant as well as all equipment and supply management as it pertained to the division.

I was responsible for supply management for the initiatives launched by the company. I fostered and maintained relationships with our various affiliates and marketing partners to build lead volume to increase revenue for the company. I also leveraged those relationships to work on ways to reduce cost of advertising and lead generation. I worked closely within the Marketing Division where I was tasked frequently as the Project Manager for initiatives for the company. I negotiated large scale contracts for the company as they arose and worked hand in hand with our Director of New Business Development in building new business initiatives both within and outside of Dominion Enterprises. In 1 year's time I was able to save the company over $400,000 annualized just in contract renegotiations.

As a Deputy Sheriff and Sergeant with the County Sheriff's Office, I provided Law Enforcement, Investigations, Court Security, Civil Process, Tactical response, Search and Rescue, and Training for the agency. I was also the Training Sergeant for our Reserve Division. Though the Albemarle County Police Department is responsible for Law Enforcement and the Sheriff's Office is responsible for Prisoner Transportation, Court Security, and Civil Process, we did assist in Law Enforcement matters as well. I also coordinated the Honor Guard for the Office and attended and/or performed at various functions for the office.

I was the Chief Field Training Officer and was responsible for all Training and Investigations at the Albemarle- Charlottesville Regional Jail. I was also the adjunct instructor at the training academy for the facility. I also served as a Shift Commander on various shifts and spent some time in Internal Affairs. I served as the head of the Transportation Unit, Shift Commander, Chief Training Officer, Investigator, and FTO Coordinator.

I was employed as a Prisoner Guard for the USMS and assisted with Prisoner Transport, Prisoner Security, and assisted with Court Security at the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia. I was later sworn as a Special Deputy in partnership with the Albemarle Sheriff's Office for jurisdictional authority with security operations at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport following 9/11 where I worked closely with the Department of Homeland Security and the Transportation Safety Administration.

I was assigned as a Deputy Sheriff in the Patrol Division where I conducted criminal, civil, and traffic enforcement in the county. I conducted most of my own investigations and was responsible for many arrests for crimes committed in the county including drug violations. I was a member of the Honor Guard and attended and/or performed at many functions where the Office was represented. I also assisted in prisinor transportation, court security, and civil process when needed.
