Lead the development of latest phase (Phase 3) for the US National Data Center system operated by the US Air Force (AFTAC). This is a large system (1 million+ lines of code) involving complex digital signal processing with strict performance and reliability requirements. Accomplishments included new paradigm for mathematical discrimination of nuclear events, development of Geographic Information System (GIS), and re-architecting of major pipeline processing.

Calvin Klein Cosmetics Company, Trendsetter – Automated systems for both manufacturing and distribution of world-wide perfume operations. Real-time system supported industry standard labeling, complex shipping requirements, high value inventory control, FDA lot tracking, and integration with significant material handling equipment (conveyors, sorters, scanners, RF terminals). Automated four facilities in the United States and Europe. Results included doubling of peak throughput and customer improvement of 65%. CKCC was the industry leader in prestige fragrance. Multi-million dollar program with extreme customer satisfaction. Established software design standards, software metrics, strategic planning and training for Joint STARS program improving ratings with the Government. Successfully lead all software aspects of project during preliminary design review (PDR) and critical design review (CDR) phases. Joint STARS is a real-time radar system, successfully deployed in both Gulf wars.

Implemented a real-communications switch that passed messages between the White House, Treasury Depart, Secret Service, FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. System met stringent timing and reliability requirements.
