Almost everything in my life and work revolves around Freestyle Motocross, action sports, motorcycles and motocross in general. I am just a lucky guy to have chased a childhood dream to become a Professional Freestyle Motocross Rider with plenty of broken bones along the way. From creating my first business, Invert Management simply to help two friends, Clinton Moore and Josh Sheehan who both became Red Bull X-fighters World Tour Champions, X Games medallists and being regarded as 2 of the world's best riders. Nothing pleased me more, than knowing I simply helped 2 friends to reach their goals.Former FMX legend and good friend of mine, Matt Schubring came to me with an idea for his retirement. To build a motocross park. In the end, we partnered with the Queensland Government, Council of Mayors (SEQ), Motorcycling Queensland and ADBA to create first ever government backed off-road motorcycle park called the Queensland Moto Park which opened in 2011. Built on greater access and safety for all riders in Australia, the 5 years dedicated to this project was unreal.Building on years as a columnist for FreeriderMX Magazine, testing products and motorcycles and covering events, I then was lucky enough to convince the head-honcho's to let me write my first book, which was a guide for young riders on how to get into the sport of FMX. The book is titled 'The Ultimate Guide to Freestyle' and released in 2008. And nothing is better, than hearing young riders now, who said they learned tricks from the book and are now Pro athletes! How cool is that! Within my own universe of freelancing, I was able to work with some great companies as a Pro Athlete, TV Host of the World Championships, Commentator, Live Events host at the World Rally Championship, Voice-Over Artist for Action Sports TV shows, as well as an accredited FMX Coach and Freestyle Judge at the World Championships.Most of all, I'm probably happiest actually getting in a bulldozer and building jumps, or jumping out of the machine and putting the shovel to good use and making a pile of dirt look like a piece of art. I love the big ideas, new events, new projects, and I'm not scared to roll around in the dust to make it happen.
