I solicit, select, organize and edit content for CONTRACTOR Magazine, our website contractormag.com, and our various eNewsletters and social media channels. Since 1954, CONTRACTOR has been helping contractors run a better business.

I've been working for a single publication, CONTRACTOR Magazine, for more than two decades. The magazine has changed ownership four times during my tenure; first with Cahner's Publishing, it was later bought by Penton Media. Penton has since been purchased by Prisim Media, which elected to retain the Penton brand. Most recently, Penton was acquired by.

(Comico still exists in some form, but hasn't published since 1997.) I did production and marketing work for an indpendent comic book publisher. Responsibilities included writing and editing the company newsletter, and organizing the company presence at various comic book conventions.

(I believe the company was sold in 1995.) I was an Assistant Editor for one of their publications, Hero Illustrated, which covered the comic book industry. I did interviews, wrote up articles and compiled the news section, among various responsibilities.
