We received the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences team Oscar for technical achievement (2002) and Japan’s Good Design Award (2003).Alias Systems developed award-winning software, custom development and training solutions for the film and video, games, web, interactive media, automotive, industrial design, education and visualization markets. During my career with Alias System I was awarded status as “Technical Director” due to special contribution on the following products; Studio Tools, Maya, and Studio Paint. As part of this experience I have had the pleasure of managing experience design and cross functional product development teams around the world to create some of the world’s best 2D and 3D interactive solutions.Specialties: Specialist in converting complex user requirements into user friendly software, by adopting strong user centered design principles. I’m responsible for the introduction of pen based gesture interaction design used by all Alias products, along with customizable shelf interaction, and art direction of over 700 icons used in Alias Studio. As lead interaction designer it’s been my honor to work on many international award-winning products.
