Provide lead technical expert advice and oversight in matters regarding the design, readiness and implementation of converged networks supporting mixes of traditional data applications as well as Voice over IP and related voice and video applications. Function as lead data networking technical expert on a wide variety of customer opportunities and major RFPs. Responsible for education and mentoring other members of Technical Consulting Services on data networking, TCP/IP, VoIP and related topics. Provide consulting services to The Coca-Cola Company, The Coca-Cola System and other large customers on data networking and VoIP design, convergence, readiness and implementation.Major Accomplishments: Turn around of weak vendor relationship with The Coca-Cola Company. Successful design and implementation of the HiPath 8000 (SIP carrier class softswitch) for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, GA. This involved migration from a TDM to SIP environment, integration with existing legacy PBX base, integration of diverse gateway technologies, 3rd party voicemail systems, and a wide mix of applications. Many of these items had never been attempted with the HiPath 8000 SIP soft switch previously. Lead successful technical sales efforts opening up global sales with CALA, Europe, Africa, Asia and PacRim.
