Responsible for all of the logistics and commercial sales activities for moving copper/gold concentrate, valued at $500M annually, from the Mount Milligan mine in British Columbia, to refiners at destination ports in Asia. This includes: management of all truck, rail, and ocean vessel logistic/commercial agreements, sampling and assays, invoicing and payments, negotiating settlements of disputes, while optimizing the end-to-end process to minimize costs and maximize revenue.

Served as a senior leader on the project team that developed a new gold/copper mine in British Columbia, Canada. This mine was built over a 30-month period at a capital cost of approximately C$1.5B. Production commences in late 2013, the 66,000 tons-per-day mine will produce an average of 81M lbs. of copper and 194k oz. of gold annually over the 22-year mine life. Communicated with senior management on progress, issues, risks, costs and schedule impacts, and serve as the interface between the Mt. Milligan project team and corporate departments including finance, treasury, investor relations, human resources, IT, legal, supply chain/procurement, and accounting.Prepared and delivered presentations that communicate project status to senior management, board of directors, and key stakeholders. Managed the owners’ project/cost controls team and provide direction to the EPCM project controls team to reduce/minimize cost, provide accurate cost estimates, manage change and predict timing of cash flow requirements.Helped develop a project controls process to manage costs using Work Breakdown Structure [WBS], delegation of authority, key performance indicators [KPI], critical path review, and reports and dashboards. Built and maintain detailed life of mine models and other Excel analytical tools.

Lead the Sales Operations Business Intelligence team in the US Theater supporting 1,250 Avaya sales associates, business partners, and service providers with responsibility for revenue of $2.5B. The Business Intelligence team is a virtual team and has resources spread across the US and in Pune, India. The team is responsible for: sales analytics, global reporting and dashboards, market segmentation analysis, sales forecasting, bookings and quota plans, territory design and market segmentation, sales training and enablement, Salesforce.com CRM/PRM, and deal registration special bids.Serve as the US representative on several global process improvement teams.

Provided sales operational support for 100 sales associates and managers in their revenue generating activities for a $450 million region. Developed go-to-market plans for areas, build-out territory modules and allocate quotas.
