Responsible for design and development of unmanned military ground vehicle.

Provide vehicle test and development engineering services.

Program manage introduction of new robotic welding assembly lines for manufacture of vehicle systems.

Lead a team of vehicle test and development engineers and manage a vehicle test and development laboratory. Plan and execute vehicle development and testing programs. Plan and manage test projects for automotive, aerospace and defence industries.

The group was responsible for unique vehicles for various government agencies. The projects ranged from technical troubleshooting of vehicles in-service to the development of vehicles with unique and generally high performance attributes.

Undertook the planning and management (including full profit and loss responsibility) for several major development projects, including: Chassis and Suspension Improvement Program for an Off-Road Vehicle for India, Small Truck and Minibus Concept program for Taiwan, Heavy Truck Cab including four point suspension system and full chassis validation program.

Responsible for the delivery on time and budget of the installation of a Test Laboratory. This £1M project was a significant investment for the company at the time and was required to be operational within seven months. The project included the supply and installation of a MTS 4 Post Road Simulator utilizing RPCIII Simulation Test technology. Other.

Initially employed as a Test Engineer undertaking data collection on vehicles on test tracks. Transferred to Test Instrumentation department and promoted to Senior Engineer, responsible for developing advanced servo-hydraulic test methodologies. Promoted ot Principal Engineer October 1988, responsible for technology capital investment, including NVH data.
