As a strategic leader, I directed product strategy during a critical period of hypergrowth, overseeing a team of 20+ product managers and engineers. My leadership was instrumental in securing the largest client in the company’s history, resulting in a 10% uplift in annual revenue. I championed the launch of a groundbreaking Insurtech platform, which generated $2M in new revenue and redefined the transportation insurance market with innovative pay-as-you-go solutions.In addition to driving top-line growth, I led the development of advanced fraud detection and risk mitigation models, safeguarding the company from $1.2M in potential liabilities. My focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence led to a 60-point increase in Net Promoter Score (NPS) and a tenfold improvement in system performance through strategic mobile app development. I also implemented a data warehouse solution that streamlined reporting and analytics, reducing overhead costs by $250k.

I started Foolish Software as a consulting company but also a parent company to develop my own products. Primarily to design, develop, and market SimpleSeating.com. From business analysis, to feature specification and development, to user interaction design, as a small company, I am responsible for all facets of this business.Along the way I have done consulting work for many customers in the areas of Rails development and product development and launch consulting.

SimpleSeating emerged from a market insights I discovered during an unexpected interaction with a diverse group of event planners. Identifying a critical usability gap in existing solutions, I founded the company to develop an intuitive, user-centric app that quickly gained traction in the events industry. Originally hired to do product direction, the business needs of the company had me spending the majority of my time on development. Our primary product was a fleet managment web app that facilitated the service and repair of tractors, trailers, and similar heavy machines.

As part of this inspiring team, I help start web-based companies through mentoring, funding, and consulting.
