Steve Tee joined Gatzke Dillon & Ballance LLP in 1994, has been a partner of the firm since 2001, and is the managing partner of the firm. During his tenure with the firm, Steve has handled a broad range of real property matters for clients, including land development firms, residential and commercial construction firms, and public agencies including public universities and colleges, cities, and public airports. He represents clients before California and federal trial and appellate courts as well as state and local agencies, and arbitration and mediation forums.Steve has handled a wide range of significant environmental litigation matters through trial and appeal, including matters arising under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Hazardous Substance Account Act (HSAA), and CEQA. Steve also has litigated matters involving inverse condemnation and construction-related claims through trial and appellate courts, and has experience handling actions arising under the Clean Water Act, and the Porter-Cologne Water Quality Act. In addition to his litigation practice, Steve also assists in advising the firm’s clients in environmental planning, including assisting in the preparation of environmental impact reports for complex or controversial projects arising under CEQA and related environmental and land use laws.Steve is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating given to lawyers.
