• Overseeing all company estimating, planning/scheduling, cost control and risk management for our Gas Plant, Pipelines, Heavy Oil and Core business units. • Acting as the project manager’s right hand, I use my experience to analyze the data available to provide the PMT with everything they will need to make the best and most informed decision to progress the project. • I mentor a team of talented individuals so they can further their careers. I deal with the client on a regular basis and am also heavily involved with business development.

• Successfully managed all project controls functions on a joint venture pertaining to the EPCM of Cenovus’ Foster Creek F/G/H and the Christina Lake F/G phases of the Central Processing Facilities for their Thermal Heavy Oil Expansions, including their Zero Base Module design;• Managed and mentored a multidiscipline team of around 22 leads, estimators, schedulers, analysts and project accountants. • The F phases of both facilities ranged between $1.1B and $1.5B TIC each. This position was very heavily involved with the project management team. • Worked with all of the various engineering and project support disciplines to mine information, monitor project performance/progress and to help with anything that was holding up the project. • Provided regular executive summaries to the client upper management by sorting through all of the data to provide a concise overview of exactly what the issues were and what steps were being taken to correct them. • Responsible for integrating our entire existing project controls database and reporting structure with an off the shelf version of EcoSys, which included re-facilitating how the product interacted with Primavera and also how it did its versioning methodology while also changing how it looked at many different project controls calculations. (EcoSys has since taken some of this information and implemented it into their off-the-shelf product.)

• Managed all costing, planning/scheduling, estimating and risk assessment duties for PROJEX along with all of the corporate backlog responsibilities. • The team consisted of 10 people ranging from senior to junior experience (of whom I was a mentor). • Prior to the department chief role, I performed all of the project controls duties for multiple projects including Petro-Canada’s MacKay River Expansion and SAGD Pad Program, Devon’s Jackfish 2 Expansion, CNRL’s Primrose East Pipeline and EnCana’s Christina Lake Offsites & Debottlenecking. • In addition to these, I also performed the project engineering duties on some of the smaller projects. Was required to spend significant time at site to bring project back on schedule through effective construction management support. • This role allowed me the opportunity to control a project from inception right through to construction completion with success. • The project engineering skills acquired have become invaluable in acting as a liason between disciplines, project management and project controls in achieving a smoothly run project.

• Was the lead planner for Suncor’s $300M MCU Sulphur Complex and Coker Silo which was scheduled for startup in fall of 2007. • Was responsible for all planning & scheduling duties from the EDS phase right through to the construction support while also acting as the overall liason between our project management/estimating group and the client for our direct field cost estimate. • Implemented an aggressive trending program throughout while keeping close tabs on all costs throughout the project.• An expert in Primavera, was completely controlling the project through a fully resource loaded schedule which directly tied into EMSYS, the progressing system. • Also assumed a fair number of construction scheduling duties as detailed engineering wound down.

• Performed all planning and scheduling duties for NISOC’s enormous oilfield revamp in Iran. • This included all progressing and trending. • Also held a position responsible for all project control aspects of smaller diluted bitumen pipeline project for Bison Pipelines Inc while simultaneously maintaining overall project schedule of Petro Canada’s Sulphur in Gas project. • Was responsible for planning & scheduling all phases of DCS revamp work for multitude of projects for Saudi Aramco and Gulf Resources situated in many locations in Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. • Complete train of thought followed through from job proposal right through to start up and commissioning. • Extensive business development experience received while achieving the awarded projects while maintaining a very aggressive project proposal schedule.

• Worked on a successful team of planners for developing and maintain a completely integrated and logically driven EPC schedule using Primavera for the 2 billion dollar Shell Athabasca U&O oilsands expansion with our Planning/Scheduling team. • Was also given the responsibility of acting as the User Program Manager for the corporate Staff Planning Software and Jobhour System Software. • Worked on the Union Carbide LP7 PolyEthylene plant construction providing all necessary Project Controls cost/scheduling actions. • Worked on the Suncor Millenium project as an EPC planner/scheduler for their design of a large coker plant and U&O facilities. • Experience gained in effective communication, teamwork, and accountability. • Gained knowledge of extensive Data Base operation. Performed all Cost Control and Scheduling tasks including Project Scheduling, Equipment Cash Flows, Project Financial Status Reports (PFSR), Destaffing Plans, Project Man-Hour Reports and Budget Trends. • Have spent numerous hours on Primavera, Excel, JSYS, EMSYS, Infoworks, SPS, Foxpro, PTS, Access, Powerpoint, Acrobat, Material Manager and various other programs. • Have been involved in many fabrication inspections.
