Served as Vice President/Controller of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce and launched the ISBDC, serving as the first Statewide Director of the SBA funded Indiana Small Business Development Center statewide regional center network. (1) SBDC Network. Launched the Indiana Small Business Development Center statewide network. Developed strategy and relationships to secure local community, corporate, university, state and federal funding to facilitate the creation and sustainable support of fourteen regional small business centers. Formed statewide business consultant & trainer network of over 100 professionals. Served entrepreneurs and local, state and national business support organizations in varying capacities as coach, advisor, board member, agency peer reviewer, policy consultant and growth strategist.(2) Served as transition period VP and Controller to assist retiring CEO of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, the state's most influential member driven business association. Served lobbyists as advisor and expert witness on small business issues, state economic development policy and legislation.

Served as planning facilitator, adviser, coordinator and monitor for statewide and local strategic business and economic development initiatives. Administered federal funded Small Cities Community Development Block Grant program, and supported federal, state and local business and economic development projects.
