After beginning his career in the Dallas market in 1997, Steve spent 8 years in PwC’s New York asset management practice before relocating to Atlanta. Steve is a subject matter specialist in inbound and outbound tax structures for private equity, global real estate debt and equity portfolios, structuring for tax-exempt investors, public and private REIT vehicles, debt fund accounting, and foreign investment in U.S. real estate. Steve also brings a unique breadth of knowledge beyond traditional asset management including a focus on complex tax provisions for multinational organizations. Clients value his ability to translate complex tax concepts into understandable solutions, enabling them to bridge gaps across disciplines in their organizations and to successfully manage their tax issues. Recognized within PwC for exceeding client expectations in delivering tax compliance and consulting services, Steve was selected to serve as a national project management champion within PwC.
