Performed IT, AV, and security infrastructure planning, design, roll-out, building commissioning & decommissioning logistics, project management, conducting RFPs, and leading design and progress meetings. These are broken down to 3 separate bond projects:- 2009-2012 - 2 new elementary schools, 1 new high school, 1 high school renovation, and technology upgrades throughout the district from 2009 to 2012 (Total project outlay, $117M). - 2016-2021 - 2 new middle schools, 1 middle school renovation, 2 natatoriums, 2 new stadiums, and introducing a 1:1 computing environment (Total project outlay, $144M). - 2021-c.2031 - 5 new elementary school buildings, and 1 elementary school remodel. (Total project outlay, $177M+)- Production and development web servers, and ensured ADA compliance to WCAG Level AA standards from 2009-2023. Conducted website redesign in 2017.- Managed the E-Waste program, and introduced a yearly opportunity for community members to dispose and recycle their electronics from 2009-2022.

Responsible for overall operations of the auditorium, including scheduling, maintenance, budgets, purchasing, and also for the set-up, running, and the tear-down of events.Worked as production manager for the high school and middle school performing arts programs. Made sure productions were on track and on budget, and that production staff had what they needed for success.Oversaw safe use of the auditorium facility by students, faculty/staff and general public. Developed better working emergency evacuation procedures to be used by ushers and patrons of the facility.Taught small classes geared towards technical theatre and oversaw student and parent volunteers involved with various productions. Comes alongside as a information technology consultant to small businesses, houses of worship, startups and individuals looking to incorporate technology into their workplace. Have worked with businesses on e-mail migration to cloud services, introducing VoIP, website creation, server installations, introducing Active Directory, network engineering, WiFi deployments, physical and data security analysis, amongst other needs.Performs Audio/Visual/Lighting design and commissioning for a variety of clients. Including theatrical lighting design, audio design, integration, Q-SYS programming, and commissioning for houses of worship, corporate training centers, conference rooms, entertainment facilities, amusement parks, zoos, and education. Have served in a variety of roles for over 50 productions and thousands of events as an audio designer/engineer, lighting designer/operator, flight choreographer, stage manager, technical director, production manager, and producer. Served as production manager for Portage Northern High School & North Middle Drama from 2007-2015, production manager at Portage Central High School from 2015-2016, before stepping away for family and professional commitments, and returned to the Portage North Middle School program in 2024 as producer.

Assisted in leading a team of around 15 student technicians at Western Michigan University’s Help Desk.Job roles included scheduling of personnel, interviewing and training new student technicians, and research to more effectively combat various computer viruses and other malware. Other small projects were worked on to improve the quality of service for the Help Desk, and in other customer service areas of the University.Successfully integrated Mobile Help Desk operations and Help Desk operations, which operated as two separate entities, allowing for staff to cross-train and pick up extra hours.Programmed a 'wait-list' application to track the queue and wait times for patrons of the help desk, leveraging magnetic stripe readers for university issued ID cards, mySQL, and LDAP.Assisted with development with an online training system to effectively train all Help Desk staff.

Maintained the public and private websites for the marching band, which included posting pictures from various performances/activities for the general public, posting music and drill formations for members to download, and publishing news updates pertinent to the public, perspective members and current members/alumni of the marching band.

Supervised and worked with 6-8 students nightly at different residence hall locations performing IT help desk work for students.Job roles included interviewing and hiring new student technicians, scheduling student technicians, performing training, and research & analysis of trouble ticket trends with current security threats.Worked with internal public relations for advertising.Other projects included programming for the student "webkit" CD distributed to all on-campus students with tools and software to protect student computers, along with the installation, development and deployment of Cisco Clean Access (now NAC Appliance) into the University’s residence hall network. Introduction of NAC reduced ticket load by over 75%Started a plan of "proactive visits" - identifying student computers with malicious software from WMU's Intrusion Detection Systems, and then fixing and cleaning the computer while technicians were onsite.Mobile Help Desk project listed as one of the top Information Technology innovations by the WMU community in December 2005.Nominee – WMU Student Employee of the Year – February 2006.
