During my time at Squarespace, I played a pivotal role in facilitating the company's growth, taking our team from 150 to over 500 members. The roles I recruited for spanned a broad spectrum, encompassing support for diverse teams including product engineering (front-end/UI, core product, commerce/payments, iOS/Android), server/traffic engineering, data center operations, network engineering, site reliability/dev-ops, corporate IT/help desk, application/infrastructure security, BI/data science/ML, data engineering/ETL, internal tools, business operations, and recruiting/people ops.I took charge of crafting and refining our technical interview processes from the ground up, introducing tools like CoderPad, Sourcing.io, and HackerRank to streamline our recruitment efforts. Additionally, I became the resident expert on our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Greenhouse, following its migration from Jobvite. I led initiatives to enhance reporting capabilities, optimize sourcing workflows, establish integration best practices, refine permission policies, and champion the adoption of new features.Beyond recruitment, I actively contributed to our knowledge base, curating comprehensive content on targeted companies and candidate profiles, keyword lists, sourcing tools (including Chrome extensions, Gmail plugins, and Google Custom Search Engines), and effective prospecting strategies leveraging Greenhouse.I also helped organize community events like PyCon, ManhattanJS, career fairs, and small events between Squarespace engineering teams and other NYC startup’s engineering teams. I spoke at a General Assembly panel on Data Science Careers and conducted a webinar in partnership with Greenhouse and HackerRank on interesting ways to source engineers.I also played alot of ping-pong.

Recruited tech talent (contract and FT) for NYC/tri-state tech startups, software firms, hedge funds, insurance companies, banks, CPG, municipalities, credit unions, and more. Recruited software engineers, network/systems administrators, DBAs, technical writers, financial/business analysts, project managers, storage engineers, SAP/Oracle/Salesforce experts, security analysts, break fix/desktop support, and more. Bullhorn ATS. Sourced Monster.com job boards, LinkedIn, Dice, and Google searches. I also facilitated training sessions internally on sourcing, boolean strings, internet research (email + phone number discovery), and lead generation to recruiters and biz dev.

I provided front-line technical support for iOS and OS X users at the Genius Bar. Sold MacBooks, iPhones, peripherals, and software. Taught classes on iWork, Intro to Mac, GarageBand. Performed data migrations between Mac/Windows machines and external hard drives to new Macs. Installed Parallels virtualization software. Participated in Black Fridays and the iPhone 4/iPad 2 launches.

This was a part-time job during high school.I built lists of thousands of software engineers, network/system administrators, SAP/Oracle/PeopleSoft/Siebel professionals, and maintained the data within a Bullhorn ATS/Salesforce CRM for a boutique IT recruiting firm. Lots of coffee runs.
