Mr Watts is Global Product Manager for the company's business in Water soluble Vitamins including Ascorbates and B Vitamins. Prinova Group is the largest distributor in the world of Ascorbates selling approx 19,000 mt per annum.Prior to joining Prinova Group Mr Watts developed the business of AMC Chemicals which was created in 1980 as a new division of Amalgamated Metal Corp PLC (AMC) a multinational metal trading, distribution and production company with a history dating back over 60 years and which was owned by Preussag AG of Hanover.The business was eventually sold by the parent company in 2002 as it became non core to the metals business as the ultimate shareholder Preussag AG underwent radical structural change.Mr Watts participated in the management buyout of AMC Chemicals by Premium Ingredients of Chicago in December 2002.Premium Ingredients International changed their name to Prinova in July 2011 in order to globalise the brand.Mr Watts graduated in 1974 from Swansea University in Wales with a first class honours degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science.Specialties: Mr Watts is a strategic thinker with particular emphasis on identifying and developing new global business opportunities in the food and functional ingredients area .
