Introduced: FTPR, First Time Pass Rate, this consisted of internal supply parts being deliverd at the right time with no defect to be found and deliverd to the correct stage of the build. this would make the internal suppliers check there own quality and not pass it on the customer it also required the parts to be deliverd and deliverd to the production schedule- this is one of the KPI's that the internal supply area's was reviewed on.Introducing: FBA ,Finished Boat Audit, a score would be given to each fault that was found at the end of the boat build, each fault would have a serverity score, this made up the final score of the boat, the unit manager would be responsible for fixing all faults found and briefing, showing the boat builders for that boat, after four boats it would be given a target to achieve with a guid line and then reviewed on a weekly bases..Introducing: Daily reviews with each unit Manager,Supervisors and Team leaders, also intorduced a PQR Plant Quality Review on a weekly bases with the MD,PD,Unit Managers, Stores Manager,Enineering Manager and PD&E Manager this would be reviewing the scores form the FBA and understanding what had been done from which department so the issue did not re-occuring on the next boat, The MD with the PD would then do a GO & SEE and check a selected Unit to view.
