I also consult with the local maintenance technician if there is a task or repair he/she has never done before. I also teach new hires how to negotiate with and supervise outside vendors doing specialty jobs. I also consult with location managers and maintenance techs about how to evaluate vendor bids and manipulate the bid in a cost effective downward trajectory thereby limiting costs for contractor work. I am also a corporate trainer for 35mm projectors as well as the new generation all digital movie systems that use no film.
