About Steve Wilkinson

Proud to lead the EY Global Industrials and Energy team, helping clients on the frontline of the energy transition to navigate complex investor and societal expectations, geopolitics and technology disruption. I work with an exceptional group of experienced industry leaders and nearly 100,000 professionals, helping to drive value for clients in energy, mobility, mining and manufacturing. With 30 years of experience advising companies in the sector, my focus is on helping companies to accelerate the energy transition and unlock value through business transformation.I’m passionate about social mobility: my experience growing up amid the debris of the first industrial revolution has shown me what’s possible with the right opportunities – and made me determined to ensure the next industrial revolution is more inclusive. That’s why I’m the EY Sponsor for the EY Foundation, an independent charity aimed at levelling the playing field for young people from low-income backgrounds, transforming lives through greater work opportunities.
