About Steve Wilkison

At Watkins College of Art I teach multiple courses in web design and development, as well as other "graphic design" related courses such as The History Of Album Cover Artwork and Professional Practices. I've been teaching full time at Watkins since 2012. Before that I worked as an adjunct professor for four years.At Digital Vision media I design, build, code and author custom websites. I specialize in WordPress based websites so that my clients can easily update the content. I design and build a lot of websites for musicians, bands, artists and small businesses. Based in Nashville, TN I have owned and operated Digital Vision Media since 2002. Before that I worked in the independent record business, working for Eminent Records, Koch Records and my own Texas label, Dejadisc. In a former life I also owned and operated a Montessori Pre-School in San Marcos, TX. At the present time I'm working hard to stay on the top of the ever changing web development field, constantly learning new technologies and skills.
