I joined the business in October to complete an induction period prior to taking on a Regional Manager role covering South Wales and the South West. With the administration announcement I took my induction store through to full closure and 'broom clean' handover.

•Leading a team of 46 Managers, 2 Store Directors and over 600 colleagues in delivering a turnover well in excess of £100M across 20 stores for our 3 brands in South Wales.•Within this role I have also previously covered Hereford, Gloucestshire and Bristol areas.•Consistently delivering the company change strategy has been key, through engaging the management teams to believe and support the vision. This recently included successfully combining 3 separate chains into 1 cohesive and profitable unit. I have ensured that my stores deliver chain leading performance and standards through developing and utilising a senior manager network within the region.•I have deputised for the Divisional Director when required leading up to 8 regions within the chain, and also successfully delivered additional Divisional responsibilities including managing the Divisions payroll budgets and communicating these effectively across 8 Regions to deliver the required savings on time and in full.•I have also mentored a new Regional Manager to the business, supporting their successful integration into electrical retailing.•Working closely with my Loss Prevention team has also provided a reputation for excelling in this area, leading the chain for the last 3 years in delivering stock loss results.•Developing people within the region has been key, and seeing managers move into field roles, and the growth of colleagues through our internal programmes has been a key highlight of the role.

Key Achievements•Respected Senior Manager delivering strong key performance indicators, coaching and mentoring teams and leading by example. Consistently delivered strong balance scorecards through identifying areas of improvement and taking action to improve. •Completed the Regional Manager Development Programme.•My stores were recognised as Centre of Excellence for operational practices.•I also regularly managed the roll out to stores of key chain initiatives, delivering feedback to the Exec team when required.•I built a clear reputation for excelling in opening new stores, both in opening 4 stores of my own and supporting/mentoring many others. •I also supported the development of a talent pipeline for new General Managers within the business for both internal and external candidates.
