CurrentDirector of Clinical EducationSummary: Responsible for developing and coordination of a system-wide education process for the five hospitals within the Northwest Health system. Collaboration with Quality, Risk Management, Chief Nursing Officers, CEOs, and other Director and departmental leaders to identify educational needs. Develop and implement educational strategies to meet regulatory, Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, State Board of Health, State Board of Nursing, Community Health Systems (CHS), and all other credentialing bodies in addition to the annual educational and responsive education required for staff. Additional responsibilities include managing of system wide education department to include all responsibilities; management of all non-nursing students job functions, educational assignments and competencies; Advanced Learning Center management for all Northwest staff to include all assignments, development of ALC modules, video of learning events and production of ALC modules and learning events, completion of reports and daily troubleshooting; management of CPR manikins at all campuses; management of high school students from four schools; management/ assigning / tracking of core competencies for required compliance training; and orientation of new hospital clinical and non-clinical staff. Recently has begun working with the RN Residency program as a new cohort begins and as one graduates from the program. Working with CNOs to restructure the program to better meet the needs of our staff and facilities.
