I am a passionate advocate of data visualisation and how it can enable better business decision making. I lead a team of business intelligence analysts and am at the forefront of driving Tableau adoption and usage at The Economist Group. Tableau is speeding up our “data set to visualisation” process and allows us to iterate and improve far more quickly. I have trained a large number of Tableau Creators around the business, with the aim of developing a community of Tableau Champions. The quality and quantity of dashboards is improving across the team as I look to incorporate best-practice data visualisation, as well as community events such as Makeover Monday.
