My family has long been associated with this small liberal arts college in Aurora, NY. I am pleased to continue the tradition of leadership and service by Zabriskies. Begun in 1868 as a women's college, I was Chair of the Board in 2004 when we elected to admit men students. Still a small college in terms of enrollment, the transition has been successful.

I joined a Lodge in my hometown, Aurora, NY, in 1977. Twenty years later we celebrated the 200th anniversary of its charter. I have been deeply involved in Masonic business in the Cayuga-Tompkins District and around the state, with roles in planning, writing, editing. I have served many leadership offices in Scipio Lodge No, 110, including a long run as Secretary and multiple stints as Worshipful Master. This small Community Bank was constituted as the First National Bank of Aurora in 1864 by a number of prominent citizens, including Henry Wells and Col. EB Morgan. Wells resigned as President in 1875 and Morgan took the seat. My grandfather, NL Zabriskie, who was son-in-law to Morgan, became Vice-President.
