With over 20 years of experience in medical device R&D, I am a systems development leader who delivers business results with a unique combination of technical leadership, project management, and system and software development skills. I am passionate about applying model-based systems engineering (MBSE), lean product development, and AI to create innovative and safe solutions for patients and customers.Currently, I am guiding the development of Coloplast's first active implantable neuromodulation device - the Intibia tibial nerve stimulator. In this role, I coordinate the introduction of state-of-the-art requirements management and product design techniques. Previously, I have led the systems, software, and hardware engineering activities for multiple active implantable businesses. I am also an author and speaker on topics such as AI, MBSE, lean, and agile methods for medical device development.
