Each day I have the opportunity to lead, coach and mentor a team of people who are just beginning their software development career. They are known as Intertech's Momentum Works team. Together we explore the soft skills, people skills and technical skills required to become a rock star consultant. The people from Momentum Works are staffed with Intertech's Sr. Consultants on client projects to give those projects additional momentum, driving toward successful project delivery. Through weekly individual and group coaching sessions, following a curriculum I designed, the Momentum Works developers learn critical professional skills through role plays, videos, book discussions, and presentations. These are the skills often learned "on the job" rather than taught in school.I manage the professional growth plans for each Momentum Works developer. I collaborate with Intertech's sales team to ensure Momentum Works staff are placed on appropriate projects to utilize their existing technical skills and further develop additional skills.In addition to leading the Momentum Works team, I regularly contribute to Intertech's blog with Agile articles. I also support our clients in areas such as: Agile Transformation Coaching, Training, Product Management.

Provided leadership and team Agile coaching across the Web and Mobile department. Created and delivered training on topics including: Agile Basics, Strengths Discovery Team Workshop, Agile Leadership, Agile Team kick-off (2 day and 3 day version).Also played an Interim Product Owner role for a business critical project, turning it around in order for the team to successfully deliver on-time against a seemingly impossible. This success resulted in reduced customer service call volumes after the initial release due to the new, intuitive health care engagement platform our team created. Also coached our business partners to shift from a traditional, big-bang project mindset, to an incremental, learn-as-you-go, Agile mindset. This shift in working resulted in numerous incremental releases of the product suite over the next few months, thereby providing additional opportunities for customer engagement and healthy living.

The Mentored Leadership Development class I teach is a foundational part of the Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership program at Bethel Seminary. This online class lasts the full three years the students are in the program. Through assigned reading, an intentional mentoring relationship, online forum discussions, and personal reflection papers, the students learn how to apply what they are learning in all their classes in this program to their ministry setting.

Product Manager for a new web services platform on which all new RedBrick Health products are built. Collaborated with other Product Managers to prioritize platform features needed for each product in order to meet product timelines. Utilized Jira to manage work in the form of techincal stories with clear acceptance criteria.Also responsible for managing the roll-out and subsequent addition of new partners for the RedBrick Ready product. A product that seamlessly integrates user physical activity information from RedBrick Ready partners into a consumer's RedBrick Ready account, eliminating the need for double data entry in order to earn rewards for physical activity. Managed all work in the form of user stories in Jira.

Process coach and Sr. Project Manager for a multi-year, multi-million dollar technology infrastructure program. Created and managed schedule for a key release within the program, lasting 9 months in duration. Program comprised of 50+ development staff, 20+ business experts, and executive senior leadership in the business and technology. Responsible for weekly senior leadership updates and frequently collaborated closely with all levels of management on the program, both in technology and the business.

Primary coach and initial ScrumMaster for agile teams in two technology departments. Taught the teams how to implement agile practices, while adhering to agile principles, based on each unique team situation. Mentored tech leads and project managers on how to effectively lead agile teams. Effectively collaborated with numerous globally distributed agile teams.Trained 200+ staff on agile principles, practices, and techniques through hands-on workshops, WebEx recordings, and small group sessions. Facilitated two-day agile project kick-off workshops for all new agile teams.
