I supervise a team of 13 Clinical Care Coordinators on the Virginia Premier contract providing CCC+ care coordination to individuals with serious mental illness. I interview, hire, train and supervise care coordinators in the Roanoke region. I provide regional team meetings with staff on rotation with other CCC+ supervisors. I audit charts for compliance with Beacon Health Options requirements, Virginia Premiers requirements and DMAS requirements for care coordination. I complete performance based appraisals, corrective actions and terminations.

Promoted a positive work environment while managing all aspects of employment for health center staff and volunteers including hiring, coaching, training, monitoring and evaluating staff in their daily performance. Maintained a client-centered service model while creating an environment that promotes effective service delivery. Ensured that health center staff are held accountable for specific measurable customer service standards and compliance. Maintained staff scheduling, staff meetings, training and ensured compliance with policy and procedures. Provided ongoing feedback to staff that recognized, identified supported health center staff while recommending improvements and providing encouragement. Provided annual performance evaluations for health center staff. Participated in annual budgeting process and responsible for financial management of the health center including inventory of medical supplies. Quality assurance of patient records, medical equipment, on site HR files, pharmacy product distribution and statistical reports as needed. Followed state specific regulations and laws for services provided. Monitored and ensured compliance with medical protocols and administrative procedures, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations.

I supervised crisis stabilization services and psychosocial rehabilitation services for six years and MHSB services for one year. I supervised a team of staff that worked with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness. I provided crisis intervention, ECO/TDO's as needed, worked with local police as needed for hospitalized member transport, and attended TDO hearings at the hospital. Audited charts, read all progress notes, quarterly reviews, discharge plans, etc. Assisted with group planning and implementation for the psychosocial program. Managed the PSR program budget for events and daily group. Developed relationships with local counselors, psychiatrists and community partners.

At ICS I provided supervision of staff in four group homes that ran 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. I managed files, provided hiring/onboarding/corrective actions and terminations. I ensured that we were following protocols set forth by the Human Rights board and DMAS.
