As the Marketing Coordinator for ComplianceAlliance – an industry-leading, whole-bank consumer and regulatory compliance platform – I was tasked with strategy and mapping the corporate message nationally, I designed and produced weekly newsletters, monthly magazines, and kept up all online marketing, managed the flow of website content, supervised bi-weekly videos and did almost all the editorial and copywriting—aggregating all this content and more across both 11,000 members, state associations in 32 states and 4,000 non-members on a demanding publishing schedule across various social media platforms.Prior to June 2019, as part of technical specifications requirement for a new website, I mapped all metadata to page URLs for archiving. In addition, we repackaged our external presentation templates for education, along with our sales and due diligence packages to conform to our style guides which were updated for 2020.

Jack-of-all-trades as the co-owner/ co-founder of this concept space - part working fine art studio - part fine craft and fine art gallery - part product and design studio located in Hill Country Texas. Our studio has been busy this year and we have many new handprinted silk and textile pieces, as well as limited edition works on paper.

Working with artist/partner, Adriana Mederos, Guatopo Design released our latest Collection of 100% silk, limited-edition men's ties, trivets for the home and an ongoing collection of hand-drawn, hand-painted 100% silk scarves. As part of a seven member advisory group, our goal is to promote tourism to San Marcos and enrich our city and its diverse cultural heritage by supporting works of artistic excellence, advancing arts education and strengthening the arts in the community.The Arts Commission is appointed by the City Council and provides oversight for the expenditure of city hotel occupancy tax funds for the promotion of the arts, including instrumental and vocal music, dance, drama, folk art, creative writing, architecture, design and allied fields, painting , sculpture, photography, graphic and craft arts, motion picture, radio, television, tape and sound recording, and other arts related to the presentation, performance, execution, and exhibition of the major art forms.Beyond this, we feel very strongly that both the artists, the cultural institutions and the creative economy of San Marcos needs our care and stewardship as we move into a decade of growth and expansion.

For three seasons, partners Adriana "Gigi" Mederos and Stevie Black, brought a collection of hand-crafted and hand-painted 100% silk scarves and compact mirrors, along with their all-new for 2013 collection of men's ties and trivets created under their Guatopo label. Gigi has been very busy since closing Aquatro Gallery on Madfish Wharf for the season and embarked on many new projects and themes for scarves, as well as commissioned works. The limited-edition, 100% silk fashion ties were developed and designed by Stevie Black in concert with Gigi Mederos and were a huge hit this summer and have gotten rave reviews. Bold or elegant, these ties were designed to reflect the wearer's personality or put the finishing touch on their ensemble. Guatopo's line of limited-edition trivets are complete with feet for sturdy post-resting and a hook for decorative hanging. Made in the USA with a unique process on concrete for long life, they can be commissioned as repeating tiles for a dash of color in a bathroom renovation or a kitchen backsplash.Gigi Mederos is originally from Venezuela and is known for her Rocky Neck gallery, Aquatro, and the island blue floors and warm, inviting atmosphere. Mederos was the Artistic Director for the Rocky Neck Art Colony this past year. Stevie Black is a native New Englander who has been on the North Shore for the past 10 years. Stevie is stepping down from his post as the Marketing Director for the Colony at the end of the 2013 calendar year to devote more time to developing and promoting Guatopo's product line and new collections. As Marketing Director, I successfully transitioned the organization through a year that saw huge changes as well as the repurposing of a historic building on Rocky Neck as the new and permanent home for the Rocky Neck Art Colony and its 170 artist/community members. Over 2013, the organization dramatically expanded its onsite cultural programming and its participation in community-wide events and affairs. Internally, the task was to coalesce divergent voices and agendas while amplifying the identity of the Colony and its new location. Externally, new visitor signage, an expanded and larger self-funded brochure, focus on social media practice and analytics, as well as consistent application of RNAC's identity and an upswing of publicity brought a new engaged audience to the venues and curious returning visitors.

Also did a fair amount of pro-bono arts editorial and design during this same period for biennial fundraising exhibitions and the like.
