My role at the West of England Combined Authority sits within the Future Transport Zone Team. This innovative programme of interventions is trialling new technologies and approaches to improve transport access and choice for residents in the West of England. Supporting particularly the micromobility and monitoring and evaluation workstreams, I work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery and evaluation of the programme.

Improving the health and wellbeing across communities in Breckland by working collaboratively with partners to design and deliver projects that have a positive impact on the wider determinants of health. This work includes being Project Manager for The Silver Social, administering the Breckland Healthy Communities Fund and liaising with partners regarding local Social Prescribing offers. This role also includes administering the Assets of Community Value and Community Right to Bid processes as well as grants for Community Car Schemes.

Long Stratton

Helping to transform the health and wellbeing approaches and behaviours of partner organisations to secure better resident outcomes through the development of initiatives to support health and wellbeing.

Assisting applicants, their agents and development management case officers to ensure that Travel Plans conditioned via the planning process meet the standards required as well as the monitoring and evaluating of these plans to determine their effectiveness. Other duties include; Vice Chair of the Eastern Region ACT travelwise Network, project lead on Better Bus Area Fund work streams on 'Smarter Choices' campaigns and business engagement, and departmental lead on 'Norfolk Work Style' team.

* Development of sustainable travel initiatives and marketing campaigns* Communicating sustainable travel messages to internal and external partners, Norfolk residents, Councillors and relevant interest groups* Implementation of the Smarter Travel Choices strategy, through travel plan initiatives and project work as well as initiating and supporting partnership projects.* Promotion of the council’s capital works, such as new crossing facilities, cycle paths and routes.* Support of the travel plan team, which has lead to experience in the travel plan process* Presentations, event organisation, liasing with the media* General administration around these projects, use of Microsoft office and the internet* Selected to speak at National Smarter Choices conference in London, and following the success of the presentation invited to speak at Scottish Transport Applications and Research conference in Glasgow.

Managing and developing the Travel Plan Plus Project, part of the Travel for Work Partnership. Working with the TP+ steering group, local employers and landowners to develop and implement the area wide travel planning activities as well as supporting commuters travelling to and around the area directly through the TP+ commuter centre.

Volunteering on a part-time basis on the front desk at the Club. Providing information on all aspects of the club including available courses, facilities and memberships. Use of the computerised booking system and till.
