Capability Development Manager in Operational Communications within Lloyds Banking Group.I develop tools that enable colleagues to cut down time and consolidate process-led decisions, principally with VBA and DAX. In everything that I do, my aim is to help clients' streamline their administrative workload, by building tools that handle data sets - no matter the size - in a robust and performative manner.Some of my recent work that has been adopted as standard by the Operational Communications department in LBG: - a dynamic regulatory communications checklist that provides campaign managers with only the small-print terms and conditions that are pertinent to their campaigns - a cost forecasting tool for stakeholders to determine a base campaign cost before production, including often-forgotten costs such as return mail fees. - a unified email and paperless mail demand plan that provides reporting parity between LBG's suppliers and allows stakeholders to avoid production bottlenecksThe next step in my journey will build on what I have learned so far as I move towards a Software Engineering role. I will bring a wide variety of competencies from my current and previous roles, in addition to my recent experience building a variety of projects in my spare time, principally in JavaScript.
