In my present role, I am part of a team of 7 who provide support, training, development and review both the product quality in our stores for in-store manufacturing labs and technicians in the UK & ROI.Here is an overview of my current role:• Looking after 6 regions in the South West and North West London offering support to the instore laboratory team• Helping store partners in reducing cost within the store• Dealing with classroom training for in store teams• Delivering instore training when requested• Managing the product quality process and reporting to the board director monthly with the monthly analysis• Line manage 3 new starters ensuring they have all the support they need to enable them to do the role effectively• Product quality audit 120+ stores in my regions to ensure quality is maintained and offer support for stores that are struggling• Write and deliver training for regional and national meetings and seminarsAs a team we ensure all products that leave are stores are at the correct standards. Practical training courses are provided at our 2 training centers in Nottingham and Southampton, or we can visit a store to provide tailored training, support and development to the individual requirements of the technicians and managers.We also provide the following within the team:- Technical assistance to aid lab efficiency- Process and quality management in line with company guidelines and industry tolerances- Bespoke workshops for regional and group needs- Regional meetings to ensure timely and active communication of company information- All company lab courses are written by us- Working in conjunction with the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers to produce / provide training courses to improve our training offer.- We liaise with our Learning and development colleagues in other departments within the Retail support area to deliver other workshops and meetings as required
