Stewart graduated as a Physiotherapist with a MSc in Rehabilitation Science from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2001 having achieved a first class hons degree in Sports Science from the University of Wales, Bangor in 1998. Stewart has worked in a broad area of settings over 23 years, NHS, private practice and professional sport football, rugby union and tennis. Stewart’s professional development initially involved a PGdip in Manipulative Physiotherapy and progressed to tutor for the Musculoskeletal Association of Physiotherapists (MACP). More recent professional development has focused on expertise in Ultrasonography with a distinction PGcert from (SMUG, Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group) at the University College of Osteopathy, in Borough, London (2022), qualifying as an Independent Prescriber from Hertfordshire University (2023). To complete this specialization Stewart completed a PGcert in MSK Ultrasound guided injections (2023) from the University of East London.Stewart focuses on maximising the effect of treatment within sessions whilst enabling patients to continue to improve with evidence-based home exercise and advice. Stewart has a great network of Consultants and other health professionals on which to draw upon where required.Commercially, I have proven myself in private practice for 19 years, increasing the reputation and turnover of several clinics as well as building my own with my business partners, Mr Gregory Bagley and Kirshnee Pillay. Stewart views change as an opportunity and wishes to continue to develop as a Physiotherapist, incorporating evidence-based medicine whilst working within a multidisciplinary team.
