As an architectural designer, intern, and job captain, I learned the importance and process of good execution of design through documents, coordination, and communication. I developed a passion for good detail in design throughout and maintain a strong focus on implementation techniques and quality detailing.In my time at VMDO, I worked on all phases of design, documentation, and construction administration and had the great opportunity to work on a broad array of Community and Education focused facilities in Higher Education, Primary & Secondary Education, and Athletic Facilities across the country. Some specific project types included Higher Ed Libraries and Campus Centers, High Schools, Elementary Schools, a Multi-purpose Arena, and a community YMCA serving Charlottesville.
