♦ Successfully led the Australian Engineering Team that travelled across APAC to set up and train affiliates across Toyota Asia in specialised tooling design and modifications that greatly exceeded quality targets. This was the first time that Toyota Japan had outsourced a master model program in the Asia Pacific region.♦ Initiated the development and use of new processes and equipment to improve productivity and capabilities, including implementation of portable 3D scanners, in-house development of semi-automated design of CAD fixture, and development of motion capture technologies.♦ Leading, supervising and coaching a team of Technical Officers and Engineers within the Body Process group.♦ Creating, managing and monitoring budgets up $25M.♦ Leading master model programs across the Asia Pacific region to introduce and transfer knowledge of leading technologies across the region.♦ Overseeing manual and robotic equipment planning and design from concept and simulation through to testing and implementation. ♦ Ensuring quality targets are consistently achieved through the innovative use of new technologies.
