Project Manager for construction projects within the Acron Building Services portfolio.

Construction Management of insurance work, new builds, domestic renovations and fire upgrade works.Management of various clients and there specific project related requirements. Controlling of trade works under construction through to completion and certification.

Managing all Construction, refurbishment and maintenance at the properties within in our Portfolio, ranging from Commercial holdings to our Jewel St Ives Shopping Village.Covering day to day liaison with Centre Management and Tenants, through to managing building contractors/sub contractors across all properties in all facets of work.

While with NBPG I was working on the Dubbo/Broken Hill/Gulgong Hospital projects. They were all at different stages of completion, from obtaining OC through to early stages of works onsite.Daily work revolved around all aspects of the various projects, the Administrators that had been working on the projects have either resigned or had their employment terminated. This had led my becoming responsible for all Head Contract administration from Delays and Extensions of Time, RFI’s, Progress Claims, Variations, Design issues and day to day client management.Further to this all Sub Contract management is now my responsibility, from Tendering and Letting of trade packages, through all phases of project administration and the finalisation of all sub contractors and suppliers on projects coming to completion.

My duties included for the day to day management of all aspects of the projects within my control, whether this is liaising with the design team on D&C projects, resolving design issues prior to tender stage to reduce variations and lost time. Facilitating planning meetings prior starting on start with the project team, discussing project safety plan, methodology and reviewing SWMS for high risk sub contractors.Subcontract preparation and letting of tender works packages. Review and negotiation of contractual claims and variations, being either head or sub contract, ensuring timely management and completion of projects including all certification and as built documentation.

I am the point of contact for any day to day dealing with clients, including but not limited to all issues arising from site, design, plus ensuring positive outcomes to contractual issues with the client/Project Manager in regards to Variations, Extensions of Time and the like.I assess sub contractors tenders, let contracts for any or all aspects of the work as required, negotiate with suppliers, co-ordinate with the programming of works, processing of subcontractor/supplier payments, review/assessment of variations, compilation and submission of head contract claims.As the project manager I am in constant communication with site team to ensure everything is in place to enable efficient and cost effective construction of the project. As required I also tender projects, including assessment of sub contractor tenders, compilation of all associated costs, completion of the tender submission and the subsequent submission to the Project Manager/Client as required.

Whilst within this position with Kell & Rigby I was responsible for the completion of documentation and construction/defect works where required on current and past projects, to ensure timely completion and or finalisation of all outstanding works. This involved liasing with clients, management and sub contractors to ensure all necessary documentation required for legislative and specific site requirements was completed and submitted to the appropriate authorities.Ensuring all outstanding/incomplete items were complete was critical to achieving a positive outcome for the project, Kell & Rigby and the client/developer.Head Contract: Client / Superintendent liaison, establishment and monitoring of project control elements including those relevant to time cost and quality. Development and maintenance of project planning documents and reports required for both legislative and site requirements. Submission and negotiation of head contract claims, correspondence, communication and co-ordination with consultants, authorities and stakeholders to overcome design, site and holistic issues to achieve a positive project outcome.
