One project was grounded in his academic research where we used the Neo4j Graph database as a tool for modelling galaxy mergers; this was an innovative approach as the traditional method would have required a brute force solution requiring supercomputer time. Stewart also joined me in offering his time to do data science work at DataKind UK charity events. At these events he worked on a wide variety of problems ranging from calculating future care home requirements to modelling corporate ownership. He is a focussed individual with excellent programming skills, including Python, and knowledge of new tools such as Neo4j. I look forward to the next opportunity that we have to work on a project together."
