About Stewart Dick
I love to deliver incredible experiences and share my passion for Scotch Whisky. For many people their path to passion or career growth is a straight line from University. I’m not one of those people! It has taken me a long time and many twists and turns to find mine. I realised while I was still at school that I wanted to work and engage with people and that I wanted to bring enjoyment to peoples lives. This began with an abortive career as a mobile DJ while I was still at School. Whilst this proved not to be the path for me (ask me about being under the table at the PTA disco!) it helped build the foundations of my desire to provide customers with great experiences. I studied Hotel and Hospitality Management at The University of Strathclyde before moving to the Moray Coast to run a busy seaside pub with rooms. Since then my career path has been somewhat circuitous but mostly focused on customer service and care. An unexpected and brief return to bar tending after 8 years primarily in retail felt like a return to my roots and reignited my enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service and delighting guests. It also drove my passion for Scotch Whisky and my desire to be part of this industry.
