Cidori coordinates national delivery of fully funded pre-employment training, working closely with Job Centre Plus, Work Programme Providers, HM Probation Service and Charities across the country to help people find sustainable employment. ‘Ready for Work’ is our full wrap around pre-employment programme - bridging local skills gaps and removing barriers to employment by bringing training & job opportunities to those who need it most.Our support doesn’t stop when our courses end – Employment Managers and Work Coaches provide ongoing support including Job Fairs & interviews with employers so that learners can secure sustainable employment.• We offer 91% of our pre-employment candidates a job• Over 60% of our learners go into employment, self-employment, or further learning• During the 2020-2021 academic year we helped more than 1000 learners into employmentWe also work with employers with larger recruitment programmes requiring trained and motivated individuals, by developing ‘Sector based Workplace Academy Programmes’ (SWAP). In partnership with our National College network, we have access to significant Government funded unemployed upskilling programmes in most devolved areas – these programmes are backed by the JCP nationally and can be tailored to meet employer requirements. Working with the local JCP’s we create a ‘SWAP’ for candidates which can then be used as a selection criteria tool by the employer or their recruitment partners.
