I am a proud US Navy Veteran and the owner of fiVO Design. I have a strong background in CNC programming, operation, and manufacturing. After successfully completing 20 years in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork as Landmark Finish,my wife, Deanna Junge, and I pivoted and rebranded our business to @fiVO_Design. fiVO Design is an award-winning, sustainable furniture company that designs and manufactures a beautiful line of wood furniture that assembles with our patented and patent pending "Infiniti Joinery" system without any tools or hardware. Our current story begins with a pandemic pivot. In the first days of the COVID shutdown, I saw an opportunity to pivot my business from custom cabinetry to clear protection barriers (sneeze guards). Our shop was already CNC automated and we had previously worked with acrylic on commercial projects, making this transition relatively easy. The first thing I did was call all my vendors to source hardware. I quickly ran into supply chain issues and was unable to source the needed connectors. Staying true to my entrepreneurial spirit, and staying nimble, I quickly designed a method to connect the acrylic barriers without any tools or hardware. Getting back to my woodworking roots, I later applied this joinery system to wood, creating an amazing desk/table that is height adjustable, flat-packs for easy shipping, and adapts via the use of accessories to thousands of configurations. The possibilities are limitless as we continue to design an entire line of sustainable furniture. My greatest strengths are my problem-solving skills and ability to execute a job. I've always had the ability to look at challenges from a unique perspective and see an opportunity to implement a creative solution. In my own work, I stress efficiency in the manufacturing process without sacrificing quality. Sustainability is also at the core of our company values, designing and manufacturing furniture that is built to adapt and last, without contributing to the growing landfills. As my career progresses, I find satisfaction in sharing the immense amount of knowledge I have attained over all my years in business. Specifically, I enjoy assisting other CNC automated woodworking shops with CNC programming, operation, and manufacturing through consulting and training.
