As a Juvenile Content Specialist, I monitored trends and identified potential subject areas for content helping NoveList users to connect youth with good books. I created content and also recruited and worked with librarians and literature specialists to create recommendations, lists, articles and blog posts for NoveList.

As part of my librarian work (children's librarian/branch manager) at Richland Library, I sought opportunities for frequent and ongoing collaboration with area educators to develop summer reading partnerships, workshops for educators and parents and to complement local early literacy initiatives.I was part of an enthusiastic team who created and lead all kinds of programming, from outreach to puppetry to teen advisory boards.I supported our library's marketing efforts through appearances on local television news shows and writing copy/responding to area newspaper requests.
