Offering skills managing diverse projects such as Oil Refinery, Chemical Production, Rail, Highway, Auto Manufacturing, Defense Munitions Facilities, Data Centers, Class A Office & Retail Tenant Improvements, plus Shell & Core construction for Office, and Warehousing.Providing full service construction management and facilities management for clients with nationwide portfolios including Nissan North America, Merrill Lynch, CB Richard Ellis and The Irvine Company. These projects required:• Accelerated schedules and phased construction with complete project responsibility from site selection, through design, construction, commissioning and move-in.• Accountability for directing the design process, including programming, schematics, design development, specifications, contract documents, and plan check.• Management of vendor contracts, which involve the selection, bidding, contract negotiations, and contract administration for Architects, Designers, Engineers, General Contractors, and other Consultants.• Acting as Owner's liaison with Developers, Landlords, Architects, And Contractors.• Working with various regulative agencies, i.e., Building Departments, EPA, AQMD, DOT, and the Army Corps of Engineers, to obtain necessary building, wetlands, SWPPP, air emissions, underground storage permits.• Presentations and briefings to management, city and local government officials to obtain project approvals.• Creating, updating and delivering timely reports of project budgets & schedules, as well as for company capital improvement and expense budgets.• Providing confident leadership, training, and supervision of design and construction teams, and support staff.• Construction Claims mitigation research on behalf of the owner/client.
