Global FP&A role providing strategic direction, guidance and support to the Finnings Regional Finance teams and supporting the Board and Executive team with annual planning and quarterly forecasting.

In this senior leadership role at BCAA my position includes traditional Finance Planning & Analysis support as well as Strategy, Risk and Data Management.My initial task was to stabilise and recruit an FP&A team that could meet and exceed the finance needs of BCAA. A thorough review of the key deliverables of FP&A led me to introduce a refined budgeting and forecasting process as well as a new Data Management Strategy that included implementing new automated reporting tools. In the last 12 months BCAA has launched its first Auto Service Centre and is embarking on another entirely new line of business, all the financial analysis and support were provided by FP&A. This led to developing and enhancing the 5 year strategic plan process that required close collaboration with the executive team and board of BCAA. An element to this process was developing and delivering a Risk strategy that exceeded regulatory minimums.

The key priority of this role (in the last 12 months) was to successfully divest Holiday Autos from Travelocity/Sabre. I led the selling team through all elements of this process including presenting to potential suitors, evaluating and recommending different options, completing due diligence and then transferring the business to the new owners. This objective was achieved in June 2013 with the sale of Holiday Autos to Car Trawler.During this period I continued my role as Managing Director International and Group Operations Director with the following responsibilities.As Managing Director for the international business the role focused on all aspects of an international businesses from sales, marketing and operations to finance and technology. Over the 2 years I lead the international team we delivered a 100% improvement in EBITDA as well as consecutive years of triple digit bookings growth.As Group Operations Director the role managed a data management team, a technology team and program and project management personnel. This role also had a strong link with the group finance, HR, tax and other shared service teams to ensure the business needs are met.
