Sam has 15 years of senior leadership, sales, marketing and change management experience across the Commercial and Not for Profit sectors. Starting her career in 1988 she joined Barclay’s Bank fast track management programme and worked her way to director level posts in London and across Africa, managing some of the Corporate bank’s most significant change programmes. In 2003 Sam started working in the Not For Profit sector, supporting organisations to achieve transformational change in income and people. As Regional Director with Common Purpose, an international leadership charity, Sam transformed the financial and operational performance of her areas and she and her leadership development programmes became well respected throughout both regions. In June 2012, Sam designed and led a pioneering development programme for Muslim woman in Libya. As Development Director at a Hospice in Somerset, Sam delivered an ambitious 5 year income generation and marketing strategy to achieve significant growth in bottom line income and led the reorganisation of the income generation, marketing teams and product set required to support the successful delivery of the strategy. She has now jumped to the 'other side' and is responsible for supporting society's change makers in the field of providing decent affordable housing for people in need, with a grant budget of circa £3m per annum.
